Man Hit and Injured by Vehicles on Broadway Friday
Eureka, CA (October 11, 2021) – A pedestrian accident occurred on Broadway on October 8, Friday.
The Times News published an article online indicating a vehicle struck an individual in the 3300 block of Broadway. After the first crash, two other vehicles ran over the body lying on the ground.
Earlier reports mentioned the collision took place at about 8:12 p.m.
Pedestrian Hospitalized After Traffic Accident in Eureka, October 8
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian with injuries. Officials briefly identified the victim as a male; possibly in his 30s, and with red-brown facial hair.
Paramedics provided first aid to the injured pedestrian. Then, an ambulance transported the patient to the hospital for further treatment. The name of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Per local news source, all three drivers involved in the crash stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the pedestrian accident in Eureka.
