Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicle on SR-101 Saturday
EUREKA, Ca (June 1, 2020) – A pedestrian suffered injuries in a suspected hit-and-run collision on Highway 101, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
On Saturday, at about 4:40 p.m., a vehicle of unknown built and type struck an individual in the northbound side of SR-101 at N Street.
Emergency teams rushed to the site and found the pedestrian suffering in injuries. The name of the victim, and the extent of their trauma remained unclear.

Authorities later confirmed the driver who struck the pedestrian fled the scene. No immediate information has been yet released on the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
