Eva Vera Fatal Pedestrian Accident Randall Street in Fontana

Fontana Woman, 56, Struck, Killed on Randall Street

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 21, 2023) — Eva Vera, 56, of Fontana, died in a pedestrian accident on Randall Street last Friday in Fontana.

The deadly crash occurred at around 5:14 p.m. on Friday, December 15th, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

A driver reportedly struck the woman in the roadway due to unknown circumstances. CHP officers responded to the 17000 block of Randall Street after someone reported the Fontana pedestrian accident.

Paramedics also came to help the injured woman and transported her by ambulance to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. However, despite efforts to save her life, she was pronounced dead at 5:56 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner. She was later identified as Eva Vera by the coroner.

Witnesses may contact the California Highway Patrol as they are heading up the investigation.
