EXETER, California (March 30, 2017) – A major injury collision occurred in the area of Highway 65 and Avenue 256 on Thursday evening, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP said a black Ford Excursion and a black Nissan Altima collided at about 6:35 p.m.
As per the report log, paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that at least one person was seriously hurt following the crash. The patient was then transported to a nearby hospital for further medical aid and assessment.
The name and condition of the wounded party at this time remained unknown.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
