Carreras-Hermosillo Fatally Struck by DUI Driver Near Rosana Way
ROHNERT PARK (August 24, 2017) – 23-year-old Fabian Carreras-Hermosillo was killed in a DUI collision on Snyder Lane Wednesday evening, according to the Press Democrat.
Preliminary investigation revealed Carreras-Hermosillo was riding southbound in 2008 Honda CBR 600 on Snyder Lane at 5:56 p.m., suddenly a northbound 1999 Ford Ranger veered directly went into his path.
Carreras-Hermosillo was unable slow down on time to avoid collision. He flew off his motorcycle, and landed on the street following the impact.

Officials said the rider was wearing a helmet but suffered major head injuries, and sadly died on the way to the hospital.
Meanwhile, investigators identified the Honda driver as Robert Bosch, 63. Bosch was booked into jail on suspicion of felony gross vehicular manslaughter with a bail of $100,000.
Snyder Lane, just past Rosana Way, was closed for three hours during the crash investigation.
