Minor Injury Collision at Fair Oaks Intersection

FAIR OAKS, Calif. (May 31, 2024) — One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at Sunrise Boulevard, Winding Way in Fair Oaks, California.

The traffic collision occurred in the northbound lane of Sunrise Boulevard at around 10:39 a.m. on May 31st, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Volkswagen Taos SUV and a red Nissan Versa sedan were involved in the collision.

Paramedics from the Sacramento Fire Department responded to help at least one person injured in the crash and transported them to Sacramento Medical Center. The person’s age, gender and identity were not released.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the roadway due to damage from the accident.

Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Sunrise Boulevard in Fair Oaks.
