FAIR OAKS, California (March 21, 2017) – A traffic collision injured a pedestrian in the area of Coyle Avenue and Dewey Drive on Monday, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP first logged the incident when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at approximately 11:10 a.m.
As per the report, Sacramento Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded and attended to the victim who suffered minor injuries after being hit. It was not specified whether the patient was treated at the scene or was taken to the hospital for further medical aid and evaluation.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
