SOLANO COUNTY, California (January 12, 2017) — Two ambulances were sent to the scene of the 3-vehicle collision involving a hit-and-run driver Thursday morning on the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway in Fairfield, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 7:09 a.m. this morning, just east of Suisun Valley Road. The drivers of a dark grey Lexus SUV, a gray or blue Toyota Camry and a white work van owned by an elevator company were involved. A child was in one of the vehicles involved.
One of the vehicles appears to have fled the scene of the crash.
