1 Killed, Several Injured in Car Crash on North Texas Street

December 27, 2018 – One person was killed, and several others were injured in a traffic collision on North Texas Street Thursday morning, according to CBS News.
Deadly Car Accident Thursday in Fairfield
At approximately 2:30 a.m., a red sedan crashed into a curb on North Texas Street. The accident left at least one person dead, officials said. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending notification of next of kin.
Furthermore, several other parties involved in the wreck reportedly suffered injuries as a result of the crash. The names of the victims, and the extent of their injuries have not been disclosed thus far.
The north and southbound lanes of North Texas Street was closed for several hours from Air Base Parkway to Alaska Avenue following the incident. Investigators stayed in the area for several hours, but the precise cause of the deadly accident is still unknown.
