1 Dead, 2 Hurt in Fairfield Car Accident on Highway 12
FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KTVU) – A 62-year-old Santa Rosa man died Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 12.
Two others suffered major injuries in the 12:45 a.m. collision that closed down state Highway 12 at Beck Avenue for seven hours.
The drivers of a sedan and an SUV collided for undisclosed reasons. The man driving the sedan was transported by ambulance Kaiser hospital where he later died of his injuries. Meanwhile, two men who were in the SUV suffered serious injuries and were taken to a hospital.
The roadway reopened to traffic at 8 a.m. this morning.
