1 Hospitalized After Collision Near Manuel Campos Parkway
Fairfield, CA (November 15, 2022) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 80 Freeway.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 80 in Fairfield
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a man riding a black sports motorcycle collided with a black Lexus SUV in the eastbound side of I-80. Our sources indicated the crash happened near the Manuel Campos Parkway offramp.
Emergency crews responded to the accident scene shortly after 5:07 p.m. Medical personnel reportedly checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, officers confirmed one person sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives handling the case stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash took place on Interstate 80 in Fairfield.
