Pickup, Box Truck Collide on I-80 Freeway
FAIRFIELD, Calif. (April 8, 2024) — A rollover crash happened Monday afternoon on the eastbound Interstate 80 Freeway, just east of Air Base Parkway in Fairfield.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at around 3:04 p.m. on April 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white pickup truck and a white box truck were involved. The Toyota Tacoma pickup overturned onto its side during the accident.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person injured in the crash and the Department of Transportation came to fix a damaged Krail on the right shoulder.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the 80 Freeway in Fairfield.
