5 Injured in Fallbrook Crash on Interstate 15 Near State Route 76
FALLBROOK, CA (July 17, 2021) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash on the Interstate 15 near State Route 76 in Fallbrook.
According to an article published by the ABC 10 News, the accident took place late Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:03 p.m.
The incident happened on July 16 when two vehicles collided on Interstate 15 in Fallbrook. The North County Fire Protection District said the two crashed north of State Route 76.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of five people hurt as a result of the collision. They sustained unspecified injuries upon impact.
Medical personnel rushed three victims to the Children’s Hospital and one patient to Sharp Memorial Hospital. They took the fifth party to the Palomar Medical Center for treatment.
Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. The California Highway Patrol shut down a portion of the Interstate 15 following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Fallbrook crash.
