FALLBROOK, California (April 2, 2016) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, a DUI head-on collision took place in the area of South Mission and Quail Knoll roads on Saturday. (map)
The crash involving a silver Nissan Altima and an unknown vehicle was reported at 5:35 p.m.
As per the dispatch, a witness said one of the motorists involved was driving under the influence of alcohol and was going the wrong way at the time of the accident.
Paramedics were requested to attend to the parties who may have suffered injuries following the collision.
Authorities will continue to investigate.
