Car Driver Killed in Traffic Collision on Interstate 15 Thursday
Fallbrook, CA (April 15, 2021) – One person died following a car crash on Interstate 15 Thursday morning, the ABC10 News reported.
Our sources indicated a male party was driving a Dodge Charger traveling south on I-15 Freeway. Preliminary investigation revealed the Dodge driver attempted to change lanes on the freeway just south of Lilac Road. In the process, the sport car crashed into the rear of a big rig heading in the same direction on the Fallbrook interstate.
1 Deadly After Auto vs. Truck Accident in Fallbrook, April 15
Shortly after 9 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the site and found the passenger vehicle wedged underneath the cargo trailer of the truck. Firefighters extricated the victim, who sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
No immediate information was available on the operator of the big rig.
Further investigation on the deadly car and truck crash in Fallbrook is ongoing.
