Motorcyclist from La Verne Victim in Deadly Collision
DATE OF COLLISION: Wednesday, November 7th
November 9, 2018- According to NBC San Diego, a deadly motorcycle accident was reported this week on Wednesday on the 15 north freeway near Rainbow Valley Boulevard.
At around 5:00 a.m., CHP officials were notified of the collision involving the motorcyclist and multiple vehicles.
Several Motorists Hit Victim
Preliminary investigative efforts have indicated that the victim who has not been identified by name but only as a 26-year-old man from La Verne, experienced issues with his bike causing him to stall in one of the lanes. Moments later, the man was struck by several passing vehicles also whose drivers stopped.
Per the report, the rider sadly did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities do not believe there to have been any involvement of alcohol or drugs to any of the involved parties including the victim himself.
Following the collision, all motorists were cooperative with officials and stuck around the scene to answer questions in regards to what happened.
Three of the lanes on I-15 north were shut down for nearly four hours while the on-scene investigation took place.
No further details have been provided as this story will be updated pending the revealing of the victim’s name.
