1 Injured in Fallbrook Hit-and-Run Crash at Ammunition and Mission Roads
FALLBROOK, CA (September 17, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Ammunition Road and Mission Road in Fallbrook.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 8:30 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Fallbrook. They crashed at the intersection of Ammunition and South Mission roads.
The incident log described the cars as a gray colored sedan and a white minivan.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Fallbrook Towne Centre. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided aid to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded victim and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the one of the drivers involved did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced the Ammunition and Mission roads to shut down following the collision.
The cause of the Fallbrook hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
