1 Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash at Mission Road and Fallbrook Street
FALLBROOK, CA (April 8, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash at Mission Road and Fallbrook Street in Fallbrook.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Sunday afternoon, April 4. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:05 p.m.
According to their dispatch, a truck and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed South Mission Road and West Fallbrook Street in Fallbrook.
Driver Hits Another Car in Fallbrook, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found one victim who ended up suffering from unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Palomar Medical Center Poway for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. They forced the intersection of Mission and Fallbrook to close following the crash.
Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
