1 Injured in Fallbrook Crash at East Mission Road and Santa Margarita Drive
FALLBROOK, CA (August 5, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a crash at Mission Road and Santa Margarita Drive in Fallbrook.
According to an article published by the Village News, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 3 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a motorcycle rider and a small sedan collided for an unknown reason in Fallbrook. The two crashed on East Mission Road at the intersection with Santa Margarita Drive.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The incident happened when the car was coming out of the Shell gas station driveway. The motorcyclist approached and then struck the side of the sedan at about 25 mph.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Palomar Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Mission and Santa Margarita to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Fallbrook crash is still under investigation.
