Fallbrook Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash on Main Avenue

Pedestrian Injured in Fallbrook Hit-and-Run Crash on South Main Avenue

FALLBROOK, CA (June 10, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on Main Avenue in Fallbrook.

The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident early Thursday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the incident at about 12 a.m.

CHP said a vehicle struck the leg of a male pedestrian for an unknown reason in Fallbrook. The driver involved hit him at 405 South Main Avenue.

Victim Hit by Vehicle in Fallbrook

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Fallbrook Medical Center. They found the victim left wounded in the roadway as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took the patient to the Temecula Valley Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not disclose his name and condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the area. They described the car as silver Acura Integra.

Officers closed a portion of South Main Avenue following the Fallbrook hit-and-run crash. Authorities are still searching for the suspect.
