RIVERSIDE, California (December 24, 2016) – Three pedestrians were hospitalized after a traffic collision at the intersection of Lime and Fifth streets on Friday evening, according to The Press Enterprise.
The accident took place around 6:53 p.m.
As per the article, Riverside Fire Department said a family of three were crossing the street on their way to their car when they were struck by a vehicle.
All three victims were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries, including broken bones. One of them sustained a head injury.
Fire department affirmed that the family had just left the Festival of Lights when the crash occurred. They were only identified as a 59-year-old woman, a 61-year-old man and their 28-year-old daughter.
Meanwhile, the driver stopped and stayed at the scene following the incident. Authorities will continue to investigate.
