Two-Vehicle Crash on Northbound Highway 101
FARIA BEACH, Calif. (Sept. 19, 2022) — A two-vehicle car accident in Faria Beach happened Monday morning on the northbound Highway 101, just south of Padre Juan Canyon Road.
The collision occurred about 6:10 a.m. on Sept. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a black Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances. The Tahoe reportedly rear-ended the Silverado pickup truck, leaving the former with moderate front-end damage and the latter with major rear-end damage.
Paramedics with the Ventura County Fire Department responded to the scene to help those injured in the wreck. There are no specific details about those hurt in the collision at this time.
Tow trucks came to remove both of the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
