Fatal Pedestrian Accident Almond Street
DOS PALOS, Calif. (May 25, 2022) — A farm labor bus reportedly ran over a person as it backed out of a driver on Almond Street near Elgin Avenue in Dos Palos.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances following the fatal pedestrian accident around 3 a.m. Wednesday, May 25th.
Police officers responded to the location at Almond Street and Elgin Avenue where they found a person dead underneath the bus.
Dos Palos Police say the driver of a farm labor bus told them he was pulling out of his driveway and felt the vehicle run over something.
The man discovered the person dead underneath the vehicle.
Investigators believe the person may have been sleeping under the bus before the accident, according to ABC 30 News.
The victim’s name, age and gender is unknown at this time.
