Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Farmington Crash Near Escalon-Bellota and Highway 4
FARMINGTON, CA (June 19, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash near Escalon-Bellota Road and Highway 4 in Farmington.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:25 p.m.
A silver 4-door sedan and the rider of a sports bike collided for an unknown reason in Farmington. The two crashed on northbound Escalon-Bellota Road, just south of Highway 4.
CHP said the car obtained rear-end damage due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the motorcyclist hurt as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel soon took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Escalon-Bellota and Highway 4 to shut down following the wreck. They did not mention if the driver of the sedan sustained any wound or if they stopped after the collision.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Farmington crash.
