Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle on North 12th Street in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 16, 2021) — A fatal 12th Street pedestrian accident happened early Friday morning in Sacramento.
The deadly crash happened about 3 a.m. on N. 12th Street between B Street and Sunbeam Avenue, according to CBS 13 Sacramento.
Police officers report that a car struck a man in the roadway in Sacramento early Friday morning. The man was walking in the industrial/commercial area near the Loaves and Fishes Friendship Park.
It’s unknown what exactly led to the 12th Street pedestrian accident at this time. However, authorities confirm that the driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the traffic accident investigation.
Investigators did not release the victim’s age or name at this time.
Meanwhile, police closed down N. 12th Street to conduct the traffic investigation. Witnesses may contact the Sacramento Police Department.
