Fatal Sacramento Crash Highway 50, Harbor Boulevard
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Oct. 4, 2018) — A man believed to be in his 60s, died Thursday morning when he was struck by a big rig truck on a Harbor Boulevard on-ramp to the eastbound Highway 50, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported to police about 5:20 a.m. at Harbor and West Capitol Avenue, according to incident logs. The on-ramp was still closed as of 7:30 a.m. as West Sacramento police continued to investigate the scene.
The semi tractor trailer truck involved in the crash was pulled over at the on-ramp.
The crash remains under investigation to determine fault.
