Possible Motorcycle Accident on State Route 99
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. (June 14, 2024) — A fatal traffic accident happened late Thursday on Highway 99 near Jahant Road in Collierville, just north of Lodi in San Joaquin County.
The deadly collision, involving a bicyclist or motorcyclist, occurred in the southbound fast lane at around 11:49 p.m. on June 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a male was laying in the center divider and number one lane of the highway and there were parts of a bicycle or motorcycle scattered in traffic lanes.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision or if any other vehicles were involved.
