Costco Semi-Truck, Pedestrian Accident on I-15 Freeway in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (July 24, 2024) — At least one person is dead after a big rig truck versus two pedestrians happened late Tuesday night on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway in San Diego.
The deadly collision occurred at around 10:25 p.m. on July 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a Costco semi-truck struck one or two pedestrians in the slow lane of the freeway, just north of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.
The circumstances leading up to the traffic accident are unknown at this time, but investigators are working on the case.
