One Dead, One Injured in Agoura Hills Crash
AGOURA HILLS, Calif. (July 1, 2022) – A fatal Agoura Hills crash happened Thursday night at Agoura Road, about a mile west of Liberty Canyon Road.
One man was killed in the two-vehicle crash and and another was injured, authorities with the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station Information Bureau said.
The collision happened about 7:24 p.m. on Thursday, June 30th, police said.
Deputies with the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station responded to the scene. They report that one motorist was westbound on Agoura Road and another driver was heading eastbound. The westbound motorist attempted to pass a vehicle and entered the opposing traffic lane where they collided head-on with the second driver, police said.
One of the motorists died at the scene. Meanwhile, the second driver suffered minor injuries in the crash. Paramedics transported the person to Los Robles Hospital.
The investigation into the fatal Agoura Road crash is ongoing.
