Pilot Killed in Crash Near Airport
CONCORD, Calif. (Jan. 30, 2024) — A small airplane crashed Tuesday morning near Concord Avenue and Diamond Boulevard, just outside of Buchanan Airport in Concord.
The fatal plane crash occurred at around 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 30th, 2024.
The Conta Costa Fire Department responded to the scene and located the pilot deceased at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
There were no other passengers aboard the aircraft.
Investigators are working to determine what caused the fatal Concord airplane crash.
