Man, Woman Killed in Crash Involving Amazon Delivery Truck
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (Sept. 9, 2024) — Two people are dead after a collision involving an Amazon delivery truck Sunday at Bolsa Avenue and Graham Street in Huntington Beach.
According to the Orange County Register, the two-vehicle collision occurred at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8th at the Huntington Beach intersection.
The eastbound Amazon delivery van traveling along Bolsa reportedly had a green light when the driver entered the intersection at Graham. However, the truck collided with a southbound Toyota Sienna at the same intersection. The truck impacted the driver’s side of the tan Toyota minivan.
The 61-year-old Garden Grove man driving the Sienna and a woman traveling with him in the vehicle both suffered fatal injuries. Their identity was not released, pending notification of their family.
Meanwhile, the 39-year-old Fountain Valley man driving the Amazon truck was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Amazon truck crash on Bolsa Avenue in Huntington Beach.
