Deadly Crash on Katella Avenue Ramp to SR-57 Freeway
ANAHEIM, Calif. (April 11, 2022) — A fatal Anaheim crash happened Monday at the southbound Orange (57) Freeway’s Katella Avenue on ramp.
The collision occurred about 10:14 a.m. on April 11th, on the eastbound Katella on ramp to SR-57, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported at least one vehicle was involved in a fatal collision, but there are no further details at this time.
Police closed down the Katella Avenue on ramp due to the crash. They issued a SigAlert for at least one hour.
Also, they requested the Orange County Sheriff Coroner respond to the scene.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the fatal Anaheim crash.
