The solo-vehicle crash happened about 2 a.m. on March 28th at La Palma Avenue, according to the Orange County Register. Two police officers in the area witnessed the crash and responded immediately.

The men, all in their 20s, died after the driver of their white, 2021 Mercedes lost control and went airborne. The vehicle reportedly struck a wall and split in half in a fiery collision that sheared off a fire hydrant. Authorities reported that one of the men was thrown out of the vehicle during impact.

Police say that prior to the crash, the vehicle was allegedly speeding southbound on Harbor Boulevard.
