Fatal Anaheim Pedestrian Accident on the Interstate 5 Freeway

Pedestrian Killed in Collision Near Gene Autry Way

ANAHEIM, Calif. (May 15, 2025) – An unidentified pedestrian was struck and killed early Thursday on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway near Gene Autry Way in the Anaheim area, the California Highway Patrol said.

CHP officers were alerted to the crash at 2:33 a.m. on May 15th in the southbound lanes of the freeway and located the victim down near the right lane.

Paramedics responded and pronounced the unidentified person dead at the scene.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on the 5 Freeway in Anaheim.
