Passenger Killed in Bakersfield Rollover Crash
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (May 31, 2022) — A fatal Bakersfield crash happened Sunday night on Alfred Harrel Highway near Hart Park in Kern County.
Eugenia Esperansa Villarreal, 23, was riding in a vehicle died in the crash about 8:03 p.m. on Sunday, May 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities are working to determine what caused a deadly crash in the northeast Bakersfield area.
Someone called 911 to report the solo-vehicle rollover crash after the driver and passenger went off the roadway.
The young woman was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and suffered fatal injuries. Meanwhile, three other people suffered injuries in the crash and were taken to a hospital.
Finally, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The Kern County Sheriff Coroner has not released the name of the person who died in the crash on Alfred Harrel Highway.
