Fatal Suspected DUI Crash in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (August 21, 2023) — One person has died in a Bakersfield crash on South Martin Luther King Boulevard, just north of Highway 58.
The deadly crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. on August 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics responded to the major injury crash, but at least one person died.
Authorities believe that a driver involved in the crash was possibly DUI, according to a report by Bakersfield Now.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Bakersfield crash.
