Car Hits Pedestrian in Fatal Crash on Wible Road
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (March 16, 2023) — A fatal pedestrian accident in Bakersfield happened early Thursday morning at Wible Road and Wood Lane.
A driver struck the man in the roadway around 4:11 a.m. on March 16th near Valley Plaza Mall, according to the California Highway Patrol and Bakersfield Now.
The CHP reported the motorist stopped and cooperated with police officers.
Meanwhile, investigators closed down the southbound lanes on Wible Road to piece together what happened and determine fault for the pedestrian accident.
