Fatal 2-Vehicle Barstow Crash Interstate 15 Freeway
BARSTOW, Calif. (July 7, 2021) — A fatal Barstow crash left one man dead and another injured Wednesday morning on the I-15 Freeway.
The unidentified man died at the scene of the crash on the Interstate 15 Freeway near L Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Additionally, the collision happened about 7:12 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7th, police said.
Firefighters and paramedics responding to the collision located one vehicle 200 yards away from the second vehicle. Both of them had major traffic collision damage, the CHP said.

Police investigating the crash were told the southbound vehicle crossed over the center divide into northbound lanes. Upon impact, a man from an overturned grey sedan got thrown out onto the freeway. Meanwhile, the report did not specify if the collision caused the vehicle to cross the highway or if it crossed the highway and crashed into the second vehicle.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office will identify the man who died after relatives are notified of the death.
Investigators seek to find out what led up to the two-vehicle collision.
