
Semi-Truck, Car Accident on I-15 in Barstow
BARSTOW, Calif. (April 27, 2023) — A fatal Barstow crash happened Thursday on the Interstate 15 Freeway near the Outlet Center Drive off ramp.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 3:39 a.m. on April 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a car traveling southbound on the I-15 Freeway collided with a semi-truck and became stuck underneath it. The car caught on fire and became fully engulfed in flames, the report said.
Paramedics responded, but sadly one person from the car died at the scene.
Tow trucks removed the truck loaded with 40,000 pounds of cardboard as well as the car from the roadway.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office and CHP are investigating the Barstow crash on the 15 Freeway.
