Fatal Beaumont Crash Interstate 10 Freeway, State Route Highway 79

Car Crashes into Semi-Truck on I-10 Freeway

BEAUMONT, Calif. (April 1, 2022) — A fatal Beaumont crash on the Interstate 10 Freeway happened Friday near State Route 79 and the Beaumont Avenue off ramp.

The crash occurred about 12:37 p.m. on April 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a driver in a blue Kia SUV rear-ended a big rig truck in the slow lane of the 10 Freeway.

It’s unknown what led to the collision at this time.

Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the deadly crash.
