Two Killed, Two Hurt in Two-Vehicle Crash in Bellflower
BELLFLOWER, Calif. (Nov. 27, 2023) – Two people were killed and two others were injured Sunday after a crash on Lakewood Boulevard in Bellflower.
The deadly, two-vehicle crash occurred at around 2:01 a.m. in the 17000 block of Lakewood Boulevard, just north of the Riverside (91) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The drivers of a Ford Exposition and a Kia Forte were involved, but it’s unknown at this time what led to the accident, according to the Long Beach Press Telegram.
Paramedics responded and pronounced two people dead at the scene. Meanwhile, two other people were transported to Long Beach Medical Center with undisclosed injuries.
The sheriff’s department’s Lakewood station described the fatalities as people who were passengers inside the two vehicles.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Bellflower crash on Lakewood Boulevard.
