Man on Bicycle Killed in Imperial Highway Crash Near LAX
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 30, 2023) – A driver struck and killed a 60-year-old man riding a bicycle Sunday night on Imperial Highway near Los Angeles International Airport.
The crash occurred at around 8:35 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30th near California Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The driver of an eastbound vehicle hit the bicycle rider as it crossed southbound on Imperial, police said.
The motorist pulled over and stopped after the crash and is cooperating with authorities.
The cause of the crash and liability will be determined.
