At Least 1 Killed after Semi-Truck and Pickup Collide
LIVINGSTON, California (April 19, 2016) – A deadly collision involving a big rig took place on Lincoln Boulevard Tuesday, according to Merced Sun-Star. (map)
The incident involving a semi-truck and a Dodge Ram was reported around 5 p.m. on Lincoln Boulevard, near Atwater Jordan Road.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said at least one person was killed in the accident. The deceased was only described as a passenger.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the report did not mention if any other party sustained injuries following the accident.
The crash, which took out multiple power lines and left 250 people in the area without electricity, remains under investigation.
