Victims ID’d as Rosalino Rodriguez, 23, and Donaciano Zurita, 35
The CHP was notified about the accident at 5:42 a.m. between Floral and Nebraska avenues.
An article by ABC 30 said two men were going south on San Mateo Avenue when they were struck head-on by a blue Dodge Charger which was headed north at the time.
The two men, described as farmworkers, suffered fatal injuries following the accident. They were identified as 23-year-old Rosalino Rodriguez and his uncle 35-year-old Donaciano Zurita.
As per ABC 30, CHP believed the Dodge driver swerved off the road, overcorrected and hit the victims. The motorist, who appeared to be driving under the influence, left the area in another vehicle.
