2 Killed in Irvine Solo-Car Crash on Northbound 405 Freeway Tuesday
IRVINE (October 29, 2019) – A traffic collision fatally injured two people along the Interstate 405 Freeway on Tuesday night.
According to an article published by The Orange County Register, the fatal solo-vehicle accident took place at about 9:52 p.m.
California Highway Patrol said the incident began when a car was traveling northbound on the 405 Freeway near Irvine Center Drive.

For an unknown reason, the vehicle then slammed into a sign. It ultimately came to a rest on top of the center divider of the freeway.
Orange County Fire Authority officials responded to the scene and confirmed that the two occupants of the car involved died as a result of the crash.
Their names have not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. The cause of the tragic incident remains under investigation.
