Fatal Car Accident at Grant Line and White Rock Roads in Rancho Cordova

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (August 6, 2025) — One person is dead and others were treated for injuries after a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon at Grant Line and White Rock roads in Rancho Cordova.

The traffic accident occurred on August 5th around 4:39 p.m., according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.

Emergency crews responded to the Rancho Cordova intersection where the fatal car crash happened and they pronounced one person dead at the scene. Meanwhile, two others were treated for undisclosed injuries.

Firefighters extricated one person who was trapped inside one of the vehicles, but there are no further details.

Finally, detectives are working to determine the cause of the crash.
