One Dead in South Los Angeles Collision
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 26, 2021) – A fatal car accident Eighth Avenue happened Wednesday night between Slauson Avenue and Hyde Park Boulevard.
The person became trapped underneath a vehicle after the deadly collision in South Los Angeles, according to news reports.
Both the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the 9:45 p.m. crash at 6124 S. Eighth Ave., according to the LAFD.
Sadly, the victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release the victim’s name after notifying family members of his or her death. Also, the report did not mention the age or gender of the victim who died in the South Los Angeles crash.
The news report does not say how many vehicles took part in the collision.
Meanwhile, investigators seek to determine fault for the car accident Eighth Avenue. Witnesses may contact police.
