Fatal Car Accident in Montebello on 60 Freeway, Paramount Blvd.

Wade Wilson, 63, Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision in Montebello
MONTEBELLO, Calif. (May 24, 2026) – Wade Wilson, 63, died early Saturday in a two-vehicle car accident on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Montebello.
The man was located in the middle lanes of the freeway following the collision at 2:33 a.m. on May 23rd on the eastbound 60 Freeway, near Paramount Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol a second victim in located in a black sedan that had also crashed into a freeway wall.
Sadly, Wade Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the second person was rescued from the sedan by firefighters from the Montebello Fire Department.
The injured person was taken to a hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Finally, authorities issued a SigAlert, issued at 3:08 a.m. and closed down several lanes of the eastbound freeway at the Paramount Boulevard off ramp to investigate the cause of the crash and liability.
