Fiery Crash on Marina Freeway
CULVER CITY, Calif. (July 25, 2024) – At least one person died in a fiery, two-vehicle car accident late Wednesday night on the Marina (90) Freeway in Culver City.
A driver in a white pickup truck reportedly side-swiped an SUV, causing the second vehicle to slam into an electric pole at around 11:26 p.m. on July 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers and the Culver City Police Department responded to the crash scene in the eastbound lanes of the freeway at the Slauson Avenue on-ramp.
The Culver City Fire Department also arrived at the scene and pronounced one man dead.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the deadly crash on the State Route 90 or Marina Freeway.
