Man Killed in Multiple-Vehicle Crash

WHITTIER, Calif. (Nov. 2, 2023) – A fatal car accident happened Wednesday night at Mills Avenue and Mulberry Drive in South Whittier.

The deadly crash occurred at around 7:50 p.m. on Nov. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported three vehicles were involved in the collision at this unincorporated area of South Whittier.

The drivers of a gray SUV and two black cars were involved. A 27-year-old man suffered major injuries and died at the scene, CBS News reports. The SUV and one of the black cars had major front-end damage from the collision.

Furthermore, police arrested one man following the crash, but it’s unknown what charges are being filed at this time.

The California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation into the fatal accident in South Whittier.
